The sole UK concession for the highly-renowned Digi-Tec range of products has been won by esmotorsport, best known to date as the importer of the world's premier supercar - the Pagani Zonda. The engine conversions comprise of the re-mapping of an engine's electronic control unit (ECU). Mercedes-Benz and Smart have to set their engines so they will operate anywhere in the world, at extremes of temperature and pressure and on poor quality fuel. As such requirements are unnecessary in the UK, major gains in performance, economy and general driveability can be achieved simply by re-programming the engine management system For example, a Mercedes CL 600 will produce 550bhp and 900Nm of torque after conversion. Other Digi-Tec products include a range of superbly crafted performance exhaust systems, suspension springs and dampers, plus distinctive 10 spoke alloy wheels. |
